About Ami Reiss

Ami Reiss is a real estate investor and the founder of Reiss Management, a residential real estate company specializing in the ownership and management of apartment rentals throughout Montreal and Laval. Through his work, he has developed a reputation for responsible property management, tenant-focused operations, and the creation of well-maintained residential communities that offer long-term value and quality of life.
Over the course of his career, Reiss has built and managed a growing portfolio of multi-residential properties across both urban and suburban neighbourhoods in Quebec. His experience spans acquisitions, property operations, renovations, tenant relations, and long-term asset management, giving him a practical understanding of residential real estate from both the ownership and resident perspectives.
Ami began his career with Divco and its real estate holdings division, Vista, where he gained hands-on experience in building management and large-scale real estate operations. During that time, he worked closely with the company’s founder and chairman while also contributing to major development projects, including the Palais des congrès de MontrĂ©al.
In 2009, Reiss launched his independent real estate career with the purchase of his first multi-residential property. Following the success of that investment, he expanded into larger apartment communities and later founded Reiss Management in 2016 to oversee a steadily growing residential portfolio throughout Quebec.
Born and raised in Montreal, Ami Reiss attended Marianopolis College before studying business and psychology at Yeshiva University. His lifelong connection to the city has given him deep familiarity with Montreal’s neighbourhoods, housing market, and evolving residential landscape.
Today, Reiss is recognized for his expertise in multi-residential real estate, property management, tenant relations, and housing operations. He is particularly focused on maintaining high standards in building management, supporting positive tenant experiences, and creating stable, professionally operated rental communities across the region.
Outside of his professional work, Ami Reiss is actively involved in philanthropic and community initiatives throughout Montreal and Quebec, supporting organizations focused on education, healthcare, food security, faith-based institutions, and services for children and individuals with special needs.
